10.  We are grateful for overall health in the family.  Thank you for your prayers!

9.  With the kids being older now, we have been able to go out on more adventures and discoveries.  In 2014 we tried camping and Tobogganing for the first time!!

8.  We are so thankful for opportunities to reconnect with old friends from Peru, Vancouver, New York City and Calgary who were visiting in Toronto.

7.  Hello and Goodbyes.  We’re excited about the new friends we’ve made this year and thankful for continued relationships.  2014 marked our 10th year in Toronto - the longest we have lived in any city!!!  We also said “see you later” to friends who’ve inspired us.  We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to know them and we look forward to seeing them again in heaven!

6.  Samuel is in Grade 3! He loves to be with people and is super friendly.  He finally lost his baby teeth this year and he learned to skate!  We continue to pray that the Lord continue to teach us how to nurture his sensitive spirit and that he develops meaningful relationships with friends and with God.

5.  Sarah is now in Grade 1.  She loves cuddling with mom and is a growing artist.  She loves to read and make up stories. Personality wise, she’s growing to be more like daddy and is quite a thinker.  We pray that she will always feel free to share her thoughts and questions with us.

4.  Opening our homes and lives in the community has been a learning and sometimes scary process but it’s been such a blessing too. God has stretched our faith and have used us to hopefully be a blessing to our neighbours.

3-2.  Stephen and I reached our four decade milestone this year!  Stephen continues to be busy at TD Financial while I started working part-time teaching adult ESL.  Never a dull moment at the Lam household and grateful for each step as He directs and opens and closes doors!

1. We just came back from a cruise vacation with my parents and brother in the Caribbean.  We are so thankful for the opportunity to go and spend time together.
